Why I Hate the Word Mompreneur

A couple months ago someone asked me when I was going to get a "real job" now that my kids are all in public school.

Dearest gentle reader, it drove me nuts.

Because just because this isn't a traditional nine to five does NOT mean it isn't a job. And if your business has ever been called a hobby, or shrunk down to something cutesy... this is for you.

In this episode I'm getting into why I stopped using the word mompreneur (yep, this show used to be Mompreneur Mastery, so it goes deep), why I refuse to pretend the caregiving load moms carry isn't real, and why a traditional 9 to 5 just doesn't work for so many of us... especially anyone caring for disabled, chronically ill, or medically complex kids.

Your part-time business is still a real business, and I need you to know that.
